R Reg Clio Headlight Glass

I wonder if anyone can help. I have an R Reg Clio Biarritz and someone has kindly broken the headlight glass. Is it possible to get replacements and would anyone know how to fit them? I have covered it with cling film as a short term measure to keep the rain out and am not driving it till i can get it fixed

Hi there.

I doubt if the lens itself is available as a seperate item - its more likely to be a complete headlight unit.

I've had a cursory look on an auction site, and found quite a few that would fit your car.

Fitting should be fairly straightforward when you receive the replacement part (you'll be able to see where the anchoring points are), but remember to check the beam alignment once it has been replaced.

Best of luck,

This job should never be complete - the day I think I've done it all, is the day I resign.

I agree with Paul.....you'll need to replace the whole light unit.

Should be easy enough to replace and you'll get one on ebay or a breakers!

Just make sure the light is aligned correctly once you've installed it. If too high or too low the beam can be adjusted by turing a screw type thing on the back of the light unit.
