Wheel arch trim clio Mk2 Ph1

Hi i got a clio grande 1.2 Mk2 Ph1 2000 like this one
I have put wider wheels on it 195/15
Im worried about the front wheels flicking stones up on to the front wings and marking them.
So i been looking for Wheel arch trim or somthing that will look rite without spending to much money.
Had somthing like this in mind
then paint them silver, but can find anything.
Also i was woundring if the clio sport front wings would fit straight on to give me wide wheel arches.
Has anyone got any idias that would help me out
Thanks for your time Doj

Hi there, and welcome.

Try this; http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/produc...pcode=AILAG001

I fitted it to my Vel Satis and didn't have any chipping problems - you can get black or chrome effect.

The ket to getting a good result is preparing the surface - use a cutting comound to remove any dirt before fitting.

This job should never be complete - the day I think I've done it all, is the day I resign.

Hello doj, you dont say what size/width of rims your using but I have 6.5J rims on 42 offset with 195 tyres and there is no problem with width clearance and no wing damage from stones.

Hope it helps

Why is it the older I get .... the better I think I was ?

Thanks VelSatisfied but i have all ready looked at them, was looking for something plastic that i could paint, and it dont seem to be much of a lip on them.
And Truckbusuk sorry to be so dumb but the only numbers i have are them on the tires 195/50/R15 82v dont think thats what you wanted to know and all i know they wolfrace alloys and i had to put a black plastic insert thing to make them fit snug, also from wolfrace, i bought the wheels 2nd had, like new. They dont stick out but they dont fit under the arch fully and also think it would look a bit nicer if i could put a nice pit of trim on the arch like the XR2 has and colour code them or slightly wider wings. Dont know what off set means!

If the wheels don't fit under the wheel arches properly I would think there would be a risk of them rubbing or catching - a very dangerous situation to be in. I would recommend you get the suitability of the wheels checked out properly.
