Renault Clio 2 - (2001) Jacking Points

I am wanting to Jack my Clio to do oild change, by using a Hydraulic Jack and Axle Stands.

At the front, I use the diamond shape chasiss piece of metal, assunmung this is quite re-enforced?

Can somebody send pictures detailing where on the underneath of the vehcle you should be using, as its not clear out there on the web?

I found the following recomendations:

So he is recomending using the following for the rear:

It would be great if somebody could detail this for the Clio front and rear, jacking up one side at the time.

Thanks Danjoe

Re: Clio 2001 Jack Points

Definately don't jack the car under the middle of the rear axle beam like the ejit in the 197 pictures, that is really not a good idea.

There should be a front subframe that you can jack up under and place axle stands on,the rear is better jacked in the area as detailed in the second picture with an axle stand under the sill joint that side. The sills should have areas marked on them for jacking, you can use these with a trolley jack too, just put a block of wood on the jacking pad to prevent it marking the sill edge(if the wood has a grain to it,run the grain at 90 degrees to the sill joint, otherwise there is a possibly that the joint will act like an axe and split the wood as you put weight on it!).
