grande scenic paint code

I have an 04 grand scenic in Platinum that some kind person has just decided to T cut the paint work using a shopping trolley
does anyone know where I would find the paint code for it ?
I have had a look in the engine bay, but cant see nowt there.
cheers for any feedback or advice.

Hi Steve and a very warm welcome to the forums.

Don't you just love going shopping....

I'm sure somebody can tell you for sure but here are a few suggestions.

1. Inside the fuel filler cap.
2. Inside one of the door shuts. (either on the door or the shut itself)
3. On a plate inside the boot. (you may have to lift the carpets)
4. On a plate on or near the front bulkhead.

Like I said I'm sure someone will know for sure but I hope that helps.

Have a look for the 'oval plate',which on later Renaults is neither a plate nor oval!!.It's a sticker usually inside the drivers door.If you click 'Quick Links' and go to the Glossary section and look at 'oval plate' it will tell you which number is the paint code.

Hope this helps.
