wheel refurb and window tinting costs/quotes?

Hey guys,

The rear wheels on my scenic have some light kerbing and for my pride, i would like to have them repaired. Does anyone have any idea how much thisll cost. Ive searched the web bit i dont wanna ring around till i have a rough idea how much it'll cost. Also, i would like to get my rear windows tinted on my scenic. The rear sides and the rear window. Ive been quoted 180 but surely this is too high? Ive done the rear sides myself but i cannot do the rear widnow and though it might be worth getting it all done.

Many thanks

Hi Tim,

I reckon 180 around the right price, if not cheaper than some places. With regard to the wheels, normally a full refurb. will cost you circa 50 per wheel.

The only option you have is to ring round and get some real quotes to make sure you get the right price

Definitely phone around.

The national chain which sponsors motoring programmes on Dave charges 75 per wheel (and upwards)....

A good independent will be almost half that amount, plus mobile repairers will remove the wheels for you, and re-fit them which saves a lot of hassle (and dirty hands).

Do an online search and I'm sure you'll find 3-4 in your area who will be keen for your business.

Best of luck,
