Clio II worn door hinges

My drivers door has worn hinges. Has anybody any experience of repairing this just by replacing the pins? Is the wear in the pin or in the hinge itself?. Can it be fixed by just purchasing new pins?. The hinge bodies are welded to the body / door so cant be replaced easily.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Clio II worn door hinges

The pins usually wear first so it definitely worth trying to a replacement - they can be a devil to get out though and sometimes you need a specail tool for the job. Most body repair shops do this on a daily basis.
