Scenic II Front Bumper Moulding Replacement

Hi. I've recently purchased a secondhand passenger-side front bumper moulding for a Scenic II. My current one is being held on by a nice bit of packing tape, but I wanted to see if anyone knows how to replace it before I made a dog's dinner of it. It seems like it may just pop in to place, but can anyone confirm for me?

Re: Scenic II Front Bumper Moulding Replacement

These are normally held in place by the plastic lugs which run along the length of the mouldings.

You will see from the one you have obtained, the direction the moulding is clipped into place. You need to reverse this direction to remove the existing moulding, and something like a flat-headed screwdriver is ideal for this job.

I would place masking tape around the edge of the moulding to protect the paintwork whilst you are levering the moulding away.

This job should never be complete - the day I think I've done it all, is the day I resign.
