headlight painting

Does anyone know, or has he/she ever painted the interior of the headlights??
Since my Lag1 Ph2 had blurred headlights, I've had them polished and they turned out to look prety well . But now I saw that the interior black trim separating the compartments for high and low beams within the headlight has also became grayish, so I was wondering is it possible to open the light and paint the the black "trim" inside the light...

P.S. when I dissmounted the lights altogeather, i saw a little round plastic thing that can be turned either way, and I tried to turn it but i didn't see the efect of it.

Re: headlight painting

i've done this with other headlights by putting the headlight in the oven and increasing the temp until the sealant softens, then pull apart, heat up again to put back together. best to ensure no moisture gets into them at any point.
