Re: Fuel filler flaps
You should have the flap & hinge combined.
To fit, jack up & take off road wheel, remove the rear part of the plastic mud shield by undoing the cross head screws and pull it forward, no need to take out completely.
Now put your hand up inside the wing and you will feel the 2 8mm nuts, using a 1/4" drive ratchet and socket it will undo easily UNLESS your car is not fitted with the mud shield, in which case the nuts will be corrided on, so spray copiuosly with WD40 and let it to soak.
You may find the bolt heads swivel in the captive holes in the hinge part outside, I jammed mine up with a screw driver enopugh to hold them and spin the nuts off.
The bad news!
The donor vehicle was without the mud shield and the nuts were so corroded the yard man cut the panel with a disc cutter, the only way to get it off!
I have no answer if yours is like this, obviosly you cant go cutting holes out!
Lucky I did not have the same problem removing the brocken hinge as my car had the mud shield.
Hope this helps you out.
