Grey Plastic Bumper next to reg plate

After losing a fight to a tow-bar. The plastic grey bumper next to the reg plate has been damaged. Its not the colour coded bumper, its the standard plastic bit they fir to the Renault Megane Dynamique 2005.

Does any one know if it is easy to purchase one of these, if so where and is it easy to fit?

A new bumper will be easy to source and have fitted, but I can't imagine it will be cheap. Have you tried one of those dentmaster/paint chip restorer people? If the damage isn't severe, it is surprising what they can do for a fraction of the replacement cost.

Does it look like a seperate part from the bumper?.If so,then it should be available from Renault, although I suspect the bumper would need to be removed to change them over.

I'd second what Mr.Totty says, get some quotes from chip/dent repairers as they can probably repair it at a fraction of the cost of the part from Renault. Most repairers have plastic welding equipment which can repair any damage, which is then smoothed and painted.Quality of repairs do vary, though,so ask around to see if anyone has had some work by these sort of people and which ones they would recommend.

Good luck, and let us know how you get on.
