Hanging a new door

The previous owner of my car obviously thought he was quite the electrician, as the window has been knackered on my car for ages.

Rather than spend 150+ to get it fixed, I have bought a door from a scrappy, with a working window, for 60. Bargain.

Now how do I fit it? I assume its quite straight forward, unbolt the door, disconnect electrics, fit new door and wires and drive away. Am I missing anything?

Got some sound advice on wiring my amp, so im relying on you guys!

Aye it's about that straightforward. You might need another pair of hands to lift off the old door & to help lift on the new one. I always found a decent jack & a bit of wood to protect the paint helps, to support the weight of the door when lining it all up again. The original markings should be a good starting point but expect a bit of messing about to get it all lined up perfectly.
Remember to only tighten one bolt on both hinges until it's linied up - it'll save you loosening them ALL of each time

I think I have CDO. It's like OCD, but with ALL THE LETTERS IN THE RIGHT ORDER
