Re: bonnet clio campus 07

Hi there Dan, and welcome to the forums.

I don't believe these dents could be removed on an economically viable basis, as the panel tends to be double-skinned at the leading edge (which greatly hinders access), also one of the dents has a hard edge to it, which has cracked the paint.

I have spotted a couple of items on ebay which may be of help (different budgets to suit you, I hope).

These are;

Just be aware that 'silver' is not a paintcode (there are many variations), and for an ideal job, the tops of the wings should also be painted - so you may well have to compromise a bit - but its a lot cheaper than 880, plus you can continue to use your car in the meantime.

The attachment shows how you can obtain the paintcode for your car.

Fitting a bonnet isn't difficult (much easier with 2), but just dismantle carefully all the sound deadening & screenwasher pipes etc, before unbolting the damaged bonnet.

This job should never be complete - the day I think I've done it all, is the day I resign.
