Question Megane 3 1.5 dci 110 coupe modifications?

Hi guys,

I've recently purchased an 11 Reg Megane 3 1.5 dci 110 coupe. I'm 18 and starting an apprenticeship in September so will be able to start funding some modifications. I would like some suggestions or directions to another thread on what modifications I would be able to make both aesthetically and performance wise which can be reversible as when it comes to resale in a few years I would like to revert to standard.

Thanks for your time guys any suggestions are appreciated.

Jake

Bl00dy 'ell.
Wish I could have afforded a 4/5 year old car when I was an apprentice, let alone before I started.

Just jealous mate, nothing personal

Given that it has the highest power 1.5 under the bonnet anyway, not sure what would boost that or even if sensible to do so.
One of our guys is looking at tuning boxes on an 80hp version so perhaps keeping an eye on that one.

Styling, given that you want to revert back for selling, I'd avoid anything that isn't simply bolt on.

Wheels, Tyres and Suspension probably but IMO, drive it around a bit first, see what annoys and what is good.
Base upgrades on that.

At your age, I was happy with a decent sound system, an engine that started and a passenger seat that reclined easily

Thanks for your reply haha the passenger seat definitely does the job, I've been saving for 2 years doing part time work! I have looked into remapping it but I've heard several complaints about the clutch slipping due to the increased power; this would then go way beyond my budget and what is necessary for my purposes really (Plus the insurance would become extortionnelly high). Sounds system! I had completely forgotten about that. Any suggests on how much lower you would take the car? I still want it to be practical as I will be travelling approximately 40 miles a day. Also I have looked into purchasing new alloys but before doing so would like to get used to the size of the car etc. Have you or anyone you know of used rim protectors?

Thanks again for your response

Plenty of our guys have had or have Meg Coupes and some have styled in one way or another, search the My Mottah section.
Most will be happy to answer questions if you post them.

One for example

And passenger door that only opens from the outside
