Theres something about having a car thats a bit different. My other is a Fiat Coupe 20v Turbo, and that still turns heads even after 9 years. It has its quirks as does the Vel but there worth it so you dont have to drive a mondeo!
You've got the bug - and it only gets better.

I'm sure the car has spent its time on the motorway, cruise control on. Best use of a car - least wear & tear possible.

I know what its like driving quirky cars - just read what I've got, they're all different, but I love them to bits.

Its good to see a thread which did not have a positive theme, take on a more hopeful (touch wood) aspect.

This job should never be complete - the day I think I've done it all, is the day I resign.
