OK, I've checked my facts now, which is just as well as I've misled you all.
I have 185/60/15 tyres fitted. The manual says that's right, and also says I can fit /55/ safely, but nothing else. Are these awkward sizes? I had a quick look at Black Circle on-line, and the choice is less than for 190/50, but still includes good tyres like the P6000 and the Dunlop SP Sport. Expensive though!
So that review I read may have been referring to swapping to the lower /55/ profile allowed by Renault. The choice then opens up much more, adn if the guy is to be believed will also give a better ride. Soooo ... I think I'll go for a mid-price /55/ such as the P6000, the Dunlop SP200 or the Toyo Proxes T1-R. Does anyone have specific experience of any of these, or recommend something else in this class/size?
