That cost for the exhaust ties in with Spyderman's 500 post. I don't know about the cost of steering parts, but do you think there is justification in asking your selling garage (you only got it just over 3 days ago) for some assistance in meeting these costs / wasn't the car sold with some warranty? I know they may say wear & tear, but that doesn't excuse them selling goods with faults that make the car undriveable or unable to pass an MOT.
