Re: Driving school Megane - worth the buy?

Clutch kit was replaced at around 50k due to the flywheel being warped and a weakened pressure plate. So the clutch is fine. For now

I am indeed clutching at straws, but hey, 1500 euros (there are bikes more expensive than that:D) Also, with a torquey engine comes an overbuilt gearbox and transmission parts (stronger gears, bigger teeth, that sort of thing I suppose)

Turbo should be fine, I teach my students a few basics about driving a turbocharged car before starting for the first time (don't run it hard till engine's up to temp, never lug the engine, etc) Yes, it has been serviced regularly by yours truly so I know oil or filters never overstayed their welcome.

There's no apparent sounds that shouldn't be there but I'll go for a drive alone tomorrow and will be more attentive to any particular sounds.

Boy my wife will be happy she has an extra brake pedal for emergency situations
Well the price seems fine to me at around 1500 euros. I believe megane mk1's are more expensive than that.

Thanks for your time guys, have a nice evening

edit: What would the pk6 gearbox weaknesses be?
