Now you know how to access the copntrol box you should be able to replace it quite easily. As far as I know the alarm module is just plug & play. Even if it isn't you will have saved yourself money by buying the alarm other than from a dealer, so will only have to pay someone to programme it. Assume an independant Renault specialist with the correct gear can do it a lot cheaper than a dealer.
