It appears to be all "paint on plastic" which is comparatively lucky.

The scratch from the side wall of a garage door entrance seems as likely as any.
This could mean its not even automotive paint but exterior semi acrylic wall paint .

Have a go with something like cif and a nail brush/toothbrush on a small area of the body moulding.
See what works best.Id leave the door handle until last as its probably the most delicate part.
Perhaps just cif and a cloth or soap and water ,just do a small bit until youre sure the paint is coming off with out damaging the plastic surface.

I know there are products out there to restore the original appearance of mouldings and plastic,but I think they may be just to combat age fading and the effect of uv light.

Vel may have more "pro" suggestions.Thx for the pics.
