You should give your local private garage a chance, mine supplied and fitted disc pads for LESS than it cost to buy the pads alone from renault!!
He also did a FULL service, brake fluid, filters the lot using GENUINE renault parts and oils for £190
Yes Tom I agree with you, My local garage is only a one man and his lad team, When I asked him about the cambelt renewal he would not go near it. He would have done the brake pads but I have all the equipment and have always done most of my servicing myself, it was a simple quick job to do the brake pads until I found the leaking pipe. I do the servicing, all it costs me is the parts required and I know it is done properly.
