Hi there, if you are looking for a repairable car, pick up a copy of Car Parts Mart (available from larger newsagents - 99p), it has loads of salvage dealers & auctions - here's a few;
Universal Vehicle Services | The vehicle auction specialist
Raw2K Online Car Auctions - Salvage, Auctions, Partfinder, Dismantlers, Sell your car, Bid online, Insurance write off, Vehicle auction
Forest Auto Salvage - Vehicle Salvage and Used Vehicle Parts / Spares
I can see you having a bit of difficulty in sourcing a repairable car which has been written-off due to the fact that most write-offs which need an under-bonnet rebuild will be due to an engine bay fire or a heavy front-end impact which may have twisted the chassis.
Another avenue which you may wish to consider is to sell-on your laguna for salvage - Renault World is a Renault garage based in Ilford operating throughout the London area
are advertised in the same publication as actively seeking damaged vehicles. This would save you a lot of heartache and expense for what would probably still be classed as a category C or D repaired write-off (which isn't worth as much).
Its up to you, but all the best whatever you decide.
This job should never be complete - the day I think I've done it all, is the day I resign.
Currently in VelSatisfied's garage:
