the handbrake works as it should by coming on and off with the dash switch, but it doesnt auto release when setting off etc, it has to be manually released, thats the only function that is not working.

Also the 'service' light and 'parking' symbol are on the dash.Also says 'technical fault' and the handbrake lever is flashing. Unfortunately coz they are on, it doesnt show me the handbrake is on or off symbol, i have to listen for the motor lol.

As i say the handbrake does work now,just not 'auto'

THINK (he says) i need to now look at the lever itself (however it works?), clutch switch and the connector that i believe is under the passenger seat
