1, Am I right in thinking that 10/40w semi is correct oil ?

2, Does the 1.2 hold 3.7l or 5l of engine oil ?

3, Is the sump plug a square socket type? - If so what are the sizes?

4, The service schedule says that oil and filters should be changed every 18k, Is this excessive?

Any more information that would be helpful will be greatly appreciated,

First off sorry for the late reply Sam.. I use a 10w 40 in can also use a 5w30 synth but that's your choice..disregard the service schedule and do it every year or 9k miles on a semi synth..use the best oil and filter you can afford.. the sump key is 8mm square.. oil capacity on the 1.2 is 4 ltrs

Any more questions away and we will try to help..
