I was not referring to the conventional push and release buttons on the door frame that get switched on when the door is opened and off when closed. I am referring to tiny micro switch’s that are located inside each of the door locks. The only way to see these guys is to actually take the lock off from the inside of the door. It is a small black switch inside the mech with a arm and roller attached. These switches behave the same as the old push button switch’s, however they are connected to circuitry that provides a 20 second time delay after the door is closed. They are also linked somehow to the central locking. If you have a problem with courtesy lights on the Laguna chances are that you will have either central locking problems, immobiliser problems or both.
