Re: Kangoo Trekka rear caliper guide pins?

Yes it took me a bit of mental gymnastics to work it out! The handbrake cable pulls the lever on the back of the calliper towards the front of the car. This ratchet action pushes out the piston. To wind the piston back in it must be turned the opposite way to the lever & handbrake cable movement.
So looking at the left side, the lever is hanging down (on the Kangoo) and it rotates clockwise to push out the piston. So to wind in the piston turn it in the opposite direction or anti-clockwise. Same deal on the right side where the lever moves anti-clockwise to push out the piston, so the piston must be turned clockwise to wind it in.
