Thumbs up Spindle

Be very careful in this area, mine started to seize and caused a bit of grief. First remove the wiper arm by undoing the small nut underneath the plastic cover and remove arm, it may need a bit of pulling but will come of in the end, I used a cheap small 3 legged puller. Remove round plastic cover and you will see a large nut, if you try and remove this the casting will snap and the cost is approx 45.00. Remove small circlip on the spindle and the from inside the glass remove a bit of trim and with lube and turning the spindle will come out. Clean the spindle with some emery paper until it slides in easy, then grease and rebuild. Make sure that you let the wiper self park before you fit the arm back.

Hope this helps
