Let's hope that it manages to get its facts 100% correct for a change!
It is pretty obvious that Graeme Holt (ex-Renault UK PR
Manager) was gagged at Renault as I know full well that a very large number of motoring hacks and media people were trying to get information out of Renault UK and getting nowhere.
No doubt Renault France had its part to play and I know that its "Quality" director was probably the hitman, as his prime role seems to be making sure that Renault gets maximum plaudits for "Safety" whilst doing as little as possible for those customers with very serious genuine safety issues like failing steering columns, BCMs and blown F9Q turbos.
VOSA has played its part too - perhaps I should say that it did NOT
play its part.
