I remember a story from the USA in a paper I read quite a long time ago, apparently two friends of a neighbour had another friend next door to them who kept meticulous MPG records of his car's MPG. The two friends were fed up of hearing him telling them all about this so they decided to teach him a lesson, they sneaked out at night and siphoned some petrol out of his tank. Their friend took his car to a garage to have it checked over but of course the garage could find nothing wrong. They then siphoned some more out but a few days later they actually put more petrol back in, this carried on for quite awhile, either taking it out or putting some in. They practically drove the bloke mad. He did stop telling them all about his MPG though.

I don't think this is Dynamite's problem though.
Currently in davesss's garage:
2002 Laguna Sports Tourer 1.8 Dynamique Moondust VF1KGOB, Fiat Siecento Micheal Schumaker, Kawasaki KLE M/Cycle and a cheap Mountain Bike.
