Re: Clio 3 phase differences and engines

I have one of the later Clio III cars, with the revised tail lamps and grille. These changes made the car much tidier-looking that the earlier version and it still looks smarter, in my view, that the Clio IV.

My advice would be to get a Clio III, but have you considered the 1.5 dCi? You will get 75 mpg on the open road: refinement, power and torque are excellent and motorway cruising is far superior to the petrol cars. Mine lopes along at 70 mph showing 2200 rpm and is excellent for long-distance commuting.

I love mine. It is a superb little car that does everything I want, and more.
