Thanks to you both for your responses, ok when my partner got home he jumped started the car and the light was out which was great however after taking it for a spin to put a bit of charge in the battery, we went to lock the car using the key card and when the indicators normally flash as the car locks the left one came on and stayed on. We unlocked the car and locked the car a few times but the light just stays on. We have had a look at the fuses in box 1which seem fine when you take out the fuse for the indicator it goes off obviously but comes back on when you put it back. Fuse box in engine we haven't touched as manual says not to and we dont want to cause more damage. Where do we find the relays? cant seem to locate them at the moment. It did rain last night but didnt the night before and it happened then also. We have rung two garages locally and both say they wont touch any Renault electrics as you end up causing more harm than good!
