Re: Parking brake

So:- Now you can move & drive the car.
Better than yesterday isn't it ???
Unfortunately, I can help no more, as it's now a garage job. The parking brake has entered a fault into the car's computer when it stuck on.
I refer you to my original answer. Which is to get the pads checked & Find a Renault knowledgeable garage to use their diagnostics to delete the fault code. Should be about 50 for diagnostics, the likes of Kwik Fit may be able to do it.

Now you know that, IMHO the control unit is NOT faulty. So anyone who says that must PROVE it, if they cannot, the they will be ripping you off.
Somewhere on this site is a list of member recommended garages, who are less likely to do that.
