Espace - location of TPMS box?

Hi all

I've ploughed through all 113 pages of the laguna 2 tyre pressure sensor threads but I'm still stuck!

I have a Grand Espace (dec 2003) and the "Tyre pressure monitoring system is not functioning" - according to the display. It was a bit temperamental for a few days and for the last two weeks has not worked at all. I now know quite a lot about this from your very helpful threads(!), but not where the receiver is located on an Espace. Does anyone know if it is in the same place as the Laguna (ie attached to the underside of the car below the passenger seat)? I can see something that might be it but I'm not confident. If that is what I can see, the lead coming out of it doesn't look very securely connected to me. Obviously I don't want to tug at it. I've tried pushing it in further but it didn't seem to make any difference.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

It says "Warning - tyre pressure monitoring system not functioning"

From what I've read of the laguna I should be grateful there's no nasty flashing lights as well, I guess!

When you start the ignition the display shows it going through each tyre in turn but not coming up with a pressure value. The picture of the car on the display then has no wheels showing.

From what I've read it sounds like it is a problem with the receiver rather than individual sensors?

Thanks!
