It's not a hard job but if you don't feel comfortable doing the brakes, leave it to the garage.

There are threads on here and check out youtube for videos...there's loads.

Front brakes are easier to do than the rears.
Just removing, cleaning and greasing the pads is easier than fitting new ones.

Spotting potential faults on the calipers is harder without experience or guidance from someone stood next to you.

Safety is the main thing with brakes. Make sure you go slowly and carefully. Double check that you tighten all bolts including the wheels.

Safely supporting the car while you work on it is a major concern. The jack supplied with the car isn't really meant for this purpose but if you lower it onto axle stands or similar, you should be ok.

Always work on solid level ground and chock the wheels that remain on the floor.

Watch a few videos and see what you think.
Currently in lancs dave's garage:
Scenic 1.4ish 2002. Clio 1.2 2002. Thunderbird 885 1995, Suzuki Gsx600f 1989. Fazer 600 2002. Specialist cement mixer for proffessionals only, not yer average forum numpty. Your car is probably worth more than all that lot put together.
