I had the tyre pressure system turned off on my car at the weekend, it only took 30mins to do and cost £35. Money well spent when they wanted £170 for two new valves and the reprogramming - the two valves were corroded so had them replaced with standard vavles when I had new rear tyres.
From experience certain dealers wont turn the system off, and luckily I found one that did - and it was just up the road from me.
At least now when I have new front tyres, I dont need to worry about the stupid tyre vavles !
