I had the tyre pressure system turned off on my car at the weekend, it only took 30mins to do and cost 35. Money well spent when they wanted 170 for two new valves and the reprogramming - the two valves were corroded so had them replaced with standard vavles when I had new rear tyres.

From experience certain dealers wont turn the system off, and luckily I found one that did - and it was just up the road from me.

At least now when I have new front tyres, I dont need to worry about the stupid tyre vavles !
