HI Phil -one other must do when servicing a diesel engine is to renew the fuel filter - it is essential the fuel pump on a diesel engine never gets any dirt or water near it innards otherwise it's furbard. Generally glow plugs aren't changed at regular service intervals unless the engine has a very high mileage. If it were mine I would change the
filter, air filter and fuel filter every 9000 miles or every year whichever comes first. Remember a good service is money well spent and the reason for a servicei s not to fix things that are broken but as preventative maintenance.
