Brake fluid Megane MK3
I have a 2010 Megane MK3 1.6 petrol. The fluid that operates the clutch is the brake fluid and it seems that it comes straight from brake fluid reservoir (which i believe is also known as brake master cylinder). Is there not supposed to be an additional cylinder/reservoir for the clutch fluid? it seems that from the brake reservoir its goes through some pipe with a filter on it and straight into the clutch slave cylinder.
I'm thinking to do a brake fluid change and from what I understand, it's a matter of siphoning out the brake fluid from the reservoir then filling with new fluid, closing the lid, then attaching a hose dipped in fluid in a bottle to the bleed nipple on each caliper and pumping the brake a few times to get clean fluid out. My question is, if the fluid is also going to the clutch, how does that work in terms of bleeding? all the brake fluid change guides all just mention bleeding the brakes, do I need to bleed the clutch too?
