In the Megane there is a microswitch within the seat belt buckle - just bend the arm too far away so that it doesn't make contact & the buzzer will never sound again. There is a separate switch for the indicator light so you'll still get that.

The buzzer is a safety feature - it reminds you you haven't fastened your seatbelt. I know it can be annoying if you are just driving car of the drive etc but it is there for a reason.
Hi! I am a newbie to this forum just got my new Megane this week, I have looked at the belt buckle and can see that it has got a wire going into the back of it but looking into the clip can see o sign of a microswitch to bend. This is driving me mad as I would love to be able to switch this buzzer off, can you tell me where to find the microswitch to bend the contact please. Many Thanks.
