Just a note regarding what caused Big Regie to roll.
Big Regie was pushed across the road until it came into contact with the kerb/safety railings. According to the accident investigator these railings are more of an illusion of safety than anything else. If a car hits them head on they give way completely not slowing the vehicel much. However it a vehicle hits them side on they give so far before causing the vehicle to literally spin around in one place.

Plus you've got to remember that Mrs Scouse was doing approx 25-30 mph at the time and the Saxo at least 40. A lot of cars when hit like that would tend to roll anyway (the Euro NCAP side impact test is done with a stationary 'target' vehicle, not a moving one).
