Then, in each wheel arch, remove the large plastic clips holding the liner in place at the front. Remove 2 screws securing the outer edge of the bumper. Move the wheel arch liner out the way and remove the bolt securing the bumper to the wing. Gently unclip the edges of the bumper from the wings and pull them outwards. Lift the bumper up slightly to unhook the top edge and pull off the car ensuring the front fogs have been disconnected. The headlight is quite easy from there on.
well thanks Andyfish, looks like as we had a Friday the 13th from hell yesterday ( damned clutch went) it looks like my car will be spending some r and r time in the garage too! . but at least it will give me the time to go stripping the bumper, replacing headlamps ( maybe even upgrade the fogs or install some LED running lights too ) , replace a dodgy gearbox/ engine mounting, fit new anti roll bar bushes, and install the replacement slave cylinder ( also gonna check the pressure plate and might fit a new clutch friction plate while im in there) i wonder does any one have any further suggestions ( other than buying a new car ?)
