I hope this isn't still a problem for you, if it is I have the answer.
The two faults are connected.
The handsfree system on your car staying active and preventing the cars UCH from going to sleep. This is either caused by one of the door handle buttons sticking or one the door optical sensors being defective. When the car is hooked upto "clip" diagnostics, it will show (in the status screen) that one or more of the cars doors are remaining "active", while ever this is the case, the UCH will monitor it. UCH 's in theory don't take that much power, but I ahve seen this enough times to know that this is the cause.
As for not starting with clutch pedal depressed, this only effects MeganeII noramlly and is caused by the clutch pedal travel sensor wiring fracturing. Quick and easy to fix and any dealer by now should be able to fix both these problems with no problem.
God Bless The French!!
