Re: removing body mouldings from 2010 Megane coupe

Hello and wellcome.

The front strips are held by one torx screw which is at the very bottom corner of the rear of the door behind a rubber plug.
Be carefull not to drop it into the door cavity.
Remove that and the whole door strip slides backwards..very easy.
The rear parts unfortunately are held in by push clips.
An expert might be able to remove them without breaking some of the clips,I couldnt.

The clips are about 80p each from renault,5 per side.

what colour is yours?

After looking at loads of pics,Im beginning to think that ones with colour coded sides and black plastic rear are the worst ,rear colour coded and strips left black.. are okish, colour coded sides and back okish all depending on original colour and wheel sizing.

Full colour coding definitely makes the car look shorter or chunkier and more aggressive, depending how you look at it ..and colour etc.Even the original concept car they had to put a black strip in to lose the body height towards the rear.

Currently in coup's garage:
RM III coupe 1.5dci FVT,Audi TT Mk1 ,a bike and too much rubbish.
