I drive 'in a rush' sometimes though
Cheers for the replies, after various garages not being able to see me, i'm booked into one today. Will let you know how it goes.
Doesn't matter how you drive. If your pads didn't wear out and you didn't carry on driving with worn pads, you discs should be fine.
You can get decent tyres for much less than £150 each. My 17" high-speed tyres for my Laguna V6 are only £125 from Costco. Others have said they have bought Continental (but branded differently) for as little as £69.
Moreover, a 2005 vehicle should still be under warranty so get as much as possible done under the warranty provisions. And don't worry about Renault.... they have budgeted for it.
