Sans correct me if I am wrong but some of the complaints about the silverstone wheel being fragile are due to owners running less than the recomended tyre pressure and hitting nasty potholes..

If this happens to you there is a law regarding potholes and providing the pothole is of a certain minimum depth, width etc you can claim costs for any repair from your local authourity..

In my experience I run the tyres at 34 psi and have the tyre pressure monitors to ensure they never fall below that mark..My car has travelled over 100k on the rear wheels and the front's wear replaced due to kerbing from previous owner but have still travelled over half of the said totally mileage.

Sorry to go off topic of course this is another subject and maybe would make a good thread topic though..
