The voice recognition is a bit crap, isn't it. More often than not, "Destination Home" brings up the quick-stop menu on mine.

The instinctive reaction is to try to speak louder and more clearly (i.e. British tourist trying to speak to non-English speaking native mode) but that's not always the solution. Speaking fairly slowly, softly, and leaving good (one second) pauses between words seems to work best for me.

I'd suggest re-programming the voice prompt, but as far as I can work out, the only way to do that is to re-send the contact. It looks like there should be an 'edit' option (to rename contacts, re-record voice prompts etc.) but I can't get it to work on mine.

I just stuck a Parrot bluetooth handsfree in the Clio and the voice recognition is flawless - not a single mis-dialled call to date. I don't think my expectations are too high.
