that was my first thought too . but on a happier note the part is not important as they never work right.

Im still trying to figure out what this bits for

Found this in another forum ......

The tyre pressure unit is mounted on the n/s just under the rear of the front passenger compartment. If you have a look you may see it dangling there - it's not uncommon for that to happen as they tend to be detached from their mounts when hit by standing water!

Currently in Ginga's garage:

If some one had posted this question 10 years ago,there would have been only one answer........IT'S A BOMB!!

It's interesting that people have come up with so many different control boxes.....I suppose thats progress....

I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....
