The start button comes out easy enough, just gently prise off the metal trim ring then pull the switch out with your fingers, or gently use a screwdriver blade. Be careful not to mark the dash around the switch.

The plug just pulls off the back.

The switch itself is held together by lugs that just need to be depressed in the right places.
Once in your hand it'll be easy to see where to push/poke.

To remove the bulb it bulb needs to be unsoldered first, use a small iron to do this.
Next bend the legs of the new bulb to enable it to fit into the switch and solder it in.

Re-assembly is the reverse of dis-assembly.

The bulb came from Maplin for about a quid, not sure of the part number, but a quick google might turn up someone else's top tip for this.

Hope this helps.
