Can you retro fit ESP/Taction control and power fold wing mirrors on a 55 plate 1.9 dynamique. It has cruise control/speed restictor, electric mirrors and electric windows that go up automatically when the car is dead locked.

For the ESP From what I can see, I would only really need to pay out for a switch, ESP module and to get it programmed in to the ECU. Is that correct?

For the powerfold mirrors will i have to buy new door mirrors, relay and a switch or is there more to it.

My car is going into the garage to get a new tyre sensor tomorrow and I'm going to ask how much to get these done but I want to know what is involved and what parts are required and decide whether it's worth it. But i'd like to know in advance what parts are required so I know if they are fobbing me off or not.

Thanks

hi
no, you need the accelerator pedal as well. it has a kick down override switch biult in.

you could also grab the switches off the top of the clutch pedal assy as well if you have the connectors.(may need to check behind the dash)
there is also a swerve sensor behind the gearstick though there are several versions and you need to match them up correctly (different connectors)
so thats:

steering wheel/airbag
steering column collar (behind the steering wheel) its a angle sensor.
the brake servo/master cylinder with sensors and cables on. several versions available.
swerve sensor behind gearstick.
esp and cruise control/limiter switches
accelerator pedal.

only other thing you need is the right wiring loom and ABS module (and lots of money spent getting them reprogrammed (ecu/ABS/UCH) if necassary.

speed limiter will at least work if parts are fitted (not including enhanced ABS)
getting the CC and ESP will involve lots of cash to convert (no guantee it will work though)

oh and mirrors upgrade will involve possible change in wireing harness in door frame and on door card along with the switches. try swapping the mirror switch and mirrors first to see.

the whole conversion shouldnt cost more than £150 or so (excluding ABS module which is 100 on its own from most breakers)

good luck :d
