Unhappy Battery/pollen filter laguna 2

Strange fault when replacing pollen filter on 1.8 laguna 2
2001 tourer. The car would not start nor any lights could be switched on.Horn non working along with locking/windows.Just made a strange clicking all the time the card was in the slot.I thought perhaps I had disturbed something under the glove box so spent the complete day checking relays/wires/fuses.Still no good......just about to call Renault(gulp) when friend said it sounded like a flat battery.I said no way as the car was fine till I changed the pollen filter.Anyway I put a volt meter on battery and guess what!............10 volts and when keycard inserted 4 volts!New battery fitted back to normal! Was it just coincedence that the battery decided to die at that precise momement when the pollen filter was changed? So if you get a strange clicking from the card reader........check your battery........................regards mark

Cool tip twobigdogs duly rewarded with rep points

I don't know why, but they don't appear to show up on the screen anymore.

I've just found out they do show up on screen again now

It must have been something to do with the new board updates
