I have a P reg Megane with immobiliser problems. Renault want the car to be towed 50 miles to them, have a diagnostic check, a new key fob and to be re-programmed with No Guarantee the problem will be fixed.
I have changed the batteries and removed and dried the sensor to no avail. The car is not worth the money that Renault wants but I need to have a car that's reliable.
It's off to the scrapyard unless anyone can come up with ideas to get it running.
