Code P2002 Laguna 3 gt

Hi
Further to my previous post I have now cleaned the erg valve which was heavily sooted, however the check anti pollution message and check fuel. Injection warning light still comes on. The ecu reads 2 codes 1 P2002, and the other a pending code wich I assume is the fuel injection warning as this does not register the code error and re setts itself with the ignition.
Has any one experienced the p 2002 error, I have read that it may be the cat, any advice appreciated thanks Gary

Re: Code P2002 Laguna 3 gt

Firstly your code seems to be generic and possibly erroneous. Renault use a different protocol in their ECU 's so not all code readers are compatible. A search of the internet seems to indicate the code relates to a blocked diesel particulate filter (DPF or FAP ).

Has the ECU been remapped to suit?

Re: Code P2002 Laguna 3 gt

Yes it has,
do you know if there should be a pressure difference at the Dpf pressure sensor even though it has been remapped, the p2002 code I have seen is particulate trap efficiency below threshold and I wondering if the pressure sensor is the problem, or the fact that there is now equalpressure due to the filter being
removed
